This web-site is intended to be a friendly, enjoyable and useful experience, but as with anything concerning any kind of transactions there are risks involved and we strongly advise you to understand all of these terms before joining. If you spot a product that you feel is violating the general terms and conditions of this web-site as stated below please let us know by contacting us.

Rights To Suspend or Terminate.

You agree that this web-site, in its own discretion, may terminate any transaction or use of the service immediately and without notice if (a) We believe that you are not abiding by the general rules of this web-site (b) You have repeatedly broken a certain term (c) You are ordering in excess to what would be considered normal(d) We believe you to be a Spammer. In most cases when we suspect foul play we will suspend your account whilst we investigate further. If our investigation is conclusive then your account with us will be terminated.

Payment

Payment must be recieved by us before any material leaves our premises. Unless you have been given account status, where then all accounts and payments due are 30 days from date of purchase. Late accounts or failed payments will be charge £50 late payment fee, and interest at 5% above bank lending rates will be charged on all accounts. All procducts remain the property of GSS Engineering Limited, until paid for in full.

Telephone Orders will be honoured, but payment MUST be made via Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer same day. Payment can be made via Credit /Debit card, Cheque, Postal Order, Bank Transfer and Direct payments to our Business Bank Account, or Paypal

Quoted Lead times and Expected Delivery dates.

From time to time we may incurr a few problems, Stock may be late in arriving, or delivery problems, which are out of our control. Therefore all quoted times and dates are provisional, and quoted with the information we have at the time of the quote, and to the best of our knowledge.

You are advised to Order Early for important or urgent requirements, Remember for certain orders, the material needs to be ordered in, so please give yourselves plenty of time when ordering.

Generally you can expect your order in the same week you order, and normally within a couple of days, but, if you have not recieved it within 5 days email us and we will chase it up. Sometimes during excessively busy weeks your order may be delayed a few days, whilst we continue to work towards your order. All orders are processed first in, first out so your order may be in a line, please be patient, we will email you if your order will take longer than 5 working days.

Customers need to be aware that whilst we process orders as we recieve them, some orders for special items like ballast, tools, and full sheets (unpunched) are usally processed by 3rd party companies and whilst we endeavor to give all orders a provisional delivery date we cannot be held responsible for issues beyond our control. Should there be any problems with the order for whatever reason we will refund you in full, and cancel your order with us, without any charges or fee's.

Although we will endeavour to dispatch all orders within the quoted time frame, we cannot be help accountable for problems out of our control.

Customers who purchase the Guaranteed next day service add on on top of their delivery rate will get a complete refund of their delivery charge if we fail to deliver next day. Subject to Stock availability. (£35.00 charge for express orders)

Dependant on where you live you may be charged the Following extra charges, in addition to the delivery charge

Wales + £18.50 + Vat

Residential Addresses + £15 + vat

Custom Work and Cash on Collection Purchases

If you have asked that we carry out custom work for you, or ask us to carry out work for you, which you will collect at a later date, then, a non refunable deposit of half the total amount payable will be required before the work is started, This covers us when customers fail to honour their side of the agreement and pay for the custom work upon completion.

Deposits are non refundable should the customer decide that they no longer need the work after its started.

Your Conduct.

You are solely responsible for the contents of your actions through this web-site. You must ensure that your participation in the buying of items does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. By this we mean that you must check that you entitled to buy the relevant item and that you are not prohibited from doing so by any law or regulation. You must not transmit through the service any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material. You must also not transmit any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation.

By viewing our site and then contacting us to place an order, it will be deemed that you have accepted these terms and contidition of trading.

Membership.

Membership to this web-site is only available to those you can form a legally binding contract. This web-site does not permit minors (under 16) to register. If any member fails to signup with their correct age the account will be terminated immediately.

This web-site assumes no liability for the content of the listings. and we can change prices if we feel a price has been entered incorrectly.

Cancellation of Orders and Returns.

We are happy to give you 30 days no quibble Returns Guarantee, If you feel that you are not happy with any aspect of our work or materials. Simply email us at sales@gssengineering.co.uk  and we'll cancel your order and give you a "Returns" number  which you will need to send with the goods.

Under the United Kingdom's Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, UK customers have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item from the day the contract is made until seven working days have elapsed since the day after goods were received.

To cancel your contract, please notify us in writing within this timescale. We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price within 30 days of your cancellation and our terms of contract provide that the item(s) must subsequently be returned. Please package the item(s) securely and send it to us so that we receive it within 14 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. The return address is GSS Engineering Limited, Unit 8, Grange Farm Road, Whitehall Industrial Estate, Colchester, Essex. CO2 8JW. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service and never use 'return to sender'. We will not accept liability for damage or loss caused by the carrier whilst items are in return transit.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is defective.

If we do not receive the item back from you with all requested details, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence/premises at your cost.

Laws.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales..
